Cynthia Kenyon is one of the original founders of Shilling & Kenyon/SK Consulting, a Bay Area consulting and accounting firm offering services in accounting, human resources, information technology, marketing and investment banking. The company was acquired by Century Business Services, Inc., in December 1999.
Kenyon holds her investment banking licenses in addition to her CPA and heads up the investment banking operations for Century Capital. She has had 25 years of tax experience helping clients in many diverse industries including the service, construction, and real estate industries. She has advised and brokered sales of business ranging in size from 5 million to in excess of 200 million.
In her spare time, Kenyon also partakes in community activities including president of Silicon Valley Football Classic Bowl Game, chairman - St. Francis High School Endowment Committee, Cupertino Bank Board of Directors, chairman - Greater Bay Trust Board, and President's Advisory Council - San Jose State University, to name a few.
Kenyon received her AA from the College of the Sequoias in 1974, located in Visalia, CA. In 1976, she received her bachelor's of science degree in Business Administration with Accounting Concentration from San Jose State University.
Kenyon currently lives in Saratoga with her husband Dave Lazares a real estate developer, along with their three sons: Matthew, Michael and Kevin.
