His work with San Jose's Compaq Center management has also furthered the reputation of the Center as one of the finest entertainment facilities in North America. The Center has played host to entertainers such as Billy Joel‚ Garth Brooks‚ and Luciano Pavarotti; and events like the NCAA Women's Final Four and the 1997 NCAA Men's Western Regionals.

Prior to the Sharks, Jamison was vice president of business operations with the Indiana Pacers from 1987-93‚ director of marketing for the Dallas Mavericks 1980-87 and started his career in athletics as director of marketing for Athletes in Action, a Christian amateur sports organization.
