What are bid themes?

More than 400 volunteers—including Olympians, technology experts, transportation officials, administrators, developers, environmental experts and marketing specialists—are working to develop a winning Olympic bid, and the best Olympic Games ever staged.

BASOC's bid comprises 19 themes, ranging from competition venues to the Games' cultural legacy.
